Map a building
Each volunteer walks the floor for about 15 minutes. Start at the printed board by the entrance and the server will line up your walk with everyone else's.

Calibrate your camera
Optional, and it takes under a minute. Hold the phone one to two metres from the board and show it from several angles: straight on, then tilted left, right, up and down. If you skip this, the server estimates the focal length instead.

Walking
Stand in front of the entrance board, hold the phone upright at chest height with the camera facing the board, then tap Start.

Build the map
Run this once every walker has finished. The server runs bundle adjustment, merges the walks, and draws the floor plan and route graph. It can take a few minutes.
